I'll bet many of you were on pins and needles last night, waiting for the election results to roll in.
I know I sure was.
It was a close race.
:)
Guess what . . . I was re-elected as city councilwoman.
Actually, I knew I would be.
Confidence?
Nope.
I ran unopposed.
Seven candidates chose to run for the three open "at-large" seats in the city.
No one chose to run against me for my seat.
I was actually flattered.
I was considered "unbeatable." At least, that was the word on the street.
Phew!
Who had time to campaign with a colicky baby and a jealous toddler?
Not me, that's for sure.
Well, congrats! I would take it!
